the end is near...or here
i was driving on the wrong side of the road because of construction and so i happened to drive towards a bus stop with a man in some state of disarray holding a sign that read: "no pre-trib. revelation". i thought it was interesting not only because he was fighting for our own suffering but because the "trib.", the suffering, wasn't the issue...he needed a revelation to make this pre-existant, blase suffering worth his time and effort and strength.

How weird, I remember seeing that guy too.I was confused by the sign (still am), and I'm even more confused by what you said...
it's just that if i were to focus on one thing in that statement, my focal point would be that we are going to be, or are, experiencing this extensive tribulation, this great deal of pain. he instead focuses on the fact that we will never be enlightened to that pain. like, for some reason, the pain is a given, it's just a big deal that we won't know about it or be saved from it....why do we always expect/accept so much pain?
